Reference aid only — not a substitute for visual inspection.
Always confirm the expiration date and package integrity printed on the
item itself before use. This tool reads only the barcode; it cannot
detect a damaged, recalled, or mislabeled package, and a barcode with no
encoded date will show "NO DATE" even if the printed date is present and
visible. When in doubt, follow department policy and check the physical
label.

Add the item number and where this bin lives, so next time it can tell you what the oldest date was on your last check.
No date in that barcode
Type the expiration printed on the package to check it.
Scan every unit in the bin, tap Sort: Oldest First to see which one goes in front with a sticker, then New Item before moving to the next bin. Clear All also resets the totals above.
